During our first meeting with the architects, Yuval drew us several basic sketches on paper. We saw a couple of interesting ideas, and left after agreeing that we will get a first floor plan based on our discussions, our list of requirements and ideas (the ‘program’ as Yuval called it), and the initial sketches. From that point we met once a week with Yuval and Shimon, commented on the last plan we got, left, got a revised plan from Shimon a few days later, and so on.

By the sixth floor plan I was really happy. We had worked out most of the kinks, getting a big yard, big bedrooms for us and the kid(s), all on a single floor (with the noted exception of a second floor study).
